Exam pattern
Prelims: GS Paper I (100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours) and CSAT Paper II (80 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours; qualifying at 33%). Mains: 9 descriptive papers (2 language papers qualifying). Interview: 275 marks.
Marking
One-third of the marks for a question are deducted for each wrong answer (0.66 in GS Paper I, 0.83 in CSAT).
